Children’s School – A Brighter Future Through Education

Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and unlocking the potential of future generations. Our children’s school provides access to quality secular education in a safe, supportive environment. Many children in The Gambia face obstacles that prevent them from attending school — poverty, lack of resources, or family responsibilities. By supporting this project, you are helping children gain the tools they need to build a brighter, more hopeful future.

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” – Prophet Muhammad ï·º (Ibn Majah)

Your support can change the course of a child's life — and earn you reward in both this world and the Hereafter.

Project 3

Orphan and Disability

Care – Extending the Hand of Mercy

Orphans, the blind, and those with disabilities are among the most vulnerable members of our society. Our programs offer shelter, food, education, and emotional support to children and individuals who would otherwise be left behind. Islam places a high emphasis on caring for orphans and those in need, promising great reward for those who show kindness and mercy.

“I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise.” – Prophet Muhammad ï·º (Bukhari)
(He raised his index and middle fingers together)

By supporting this project, you become the lifeline of someone who has no one else — and secure a lasting reward for yourself in the process.

Project 2

Religious Study Centers  (Madrassas) – Nurturing Faith and Values

Our madrassas serve as vital centers for Islamic education, where children and youth learn the Qur’an, Hadith, and essential teachings of Islam. In a world of increasing distractions, it is more important than ever to preserve and pass on the values of our deen. These centers are not just about learning — they are about building strong moral character, respect for parents and elders, and love for Allah ï·» and His Messenger ï·º.

“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” – Prophet Muhammad ï·º (Bukhari)

Supporting these madrassas is a noble act that helps raise a generation of God-conscious individuals who will carry the light of Islam forward.

Project 4

Widows’ Support – Honoring and Protecting the Forgotten

Many widows in The Gambia are left without financial support, facing hardship and social isolation. Our widows' care initiative provides assistance in the form of food, clothing, shelter, and emotional support. Islam encourages the protection and empowerment of widows and the needy, recognizing the immense value of caring for those whom society often overlooks.

“The one who strives to help the widow and the poor is like the one who fights in the cause of Allah.” – Prophet Muhammad ï·º (Bukhari & Muslim)

Your contribution can help a widow live with dignity and hope — a deed loved by Allah ï·».

Project 5

Mosque Building Projects – Foundations of Worship and Community

A masjid is more than just a place of prayer — it is the heart of the Muslim community. In many rural and impoverished areas of The Gambia, people are forced to pray in makeshift shelters or under the open sky. Our mosque projects aim to build proper places of worship where Muslims can gather for prayer, education, and community support.

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” – Prophet Muhammad ï·º (Bukhari & Muslim)

By helping to build a mosque, you are planting a seed of continuous reward (sadaqah jariyah) for yourself and generations to come.

Project 6

Self-Sufficiency Agro Projects – Empowering Through the Blessings of the Land

Our agricultural and farming initiatives are designed to promote self-reliance and sustainable development in local communities. We provide training, tools, and resources so families can grow their own food, sell surplus produce, and achieve financial independence. Agriculture is a source of barakah (blessing), and empowering people to become self-sufficient honors the Islamic value of earning a halal livelihood.

“No one eats better food than that which he eats out of the work of his hand.” – Prophet Muhammad ï·º (Bukhari)

Supporting these projects not only helps families feed themselves but creates a ripple effect of prosperity and hope across communities.
